Shayne Crist (Drykul)

I have been very passionate about video games since I played my uncle's Atari when I was around 4. I got my first NES around 1986-1987 and its been downhill from there. I haven't stopped since then and now at the ripe old age of 33, my wife doesn't always think its the most mature of hobbies yet my 7 kids love it!

I started attending University of Maryland University College (UMUC) in 2008 while I was deployed to Afghanistan with the US Army. I finished up my AA in Computer Studies in early 2014 at UMUC and I'm currently attending Vincennes University for software development.

 

I've picked up a lot of knowledge from code learning sites like Code Academy, Ruby Monk, and Khan Academy and I have experience with Ruby, Java, JavaScript, VisualBasic, and now thanks to helping build and maintain this website, a little PHP, CSS, and HTML5.

As of now, I am a sales associate for a pretty well known retail store that deals primarily with Verizon Wireless service. I plan on helping build this little company (Cloud9) and the community based around it up. If sharing my abilities, dreams, and ideas helps even just one person reach a goal they want to reach, I'll consider this endeavor a success.
